The new episode can be heard on the SUGGESTED DONATION WEBSITE
or, as always, can be downloaded on iTunes. To have the latest episode delivered to you as soon as it is released, please subscribe to Suggested Donation on iTunes.

Suggested Donation Podcast welcomes artist Graydon Parrish

We are very excited to share our conversation with artist Graydon Parrish on the latest Suggested Donation Podcast. You can download the episode from iTunes, or stream on our website:

Graydon is a leader in the Atelier Movement, art historian who co-wrote the Charles Bargue and
Jean Léon Gérôme "Drawing Course," instructor, and most importantly a tremendous artist. Below are
a couple of his paintings, including the massive "The Cycle of Terror and Tragedy", which can be seen at the New Britain Museum of Art.

and lastly, we discuss one of Graydon's favorite artists and greatest inspirations, Bouguereau. Below is a detail of "Nymphs and Satyr", which Graydon calls a "perfect painting".

Suggested Donation is a podcast devoted to the arts in all forms. Hosted by two contemporary painters,
the conversations provide an insight into the creative mind. By speaking with both traditional and
non-traditional artists and craftsmen, curators and restorers, we create a dialog through which we discover
common ground across disciplines and spaces united by a love of and deep devotion to skill. We aim to
alter the very landscape of the contemporary art world one conversation at a time. Our first podcast features
a conversation between Edward Minoff and Tony Curanaj in which we introduce ourselves and our podcast,
and discuss our sordid past.

Please Subscribe! You can find the podcast at the iTunes Store, just search "Suggested Donation"
